SUMMARY:Dark Forest Fright Trail
DESCRIPTION:**Dark Forest 2026: The Law Dogs** \nThis year\, In the woods behind Burn Brae Mansion\, there is an Apex Manhunt going on.. \nIn the sprawling sunless expanse known as the Dark Forest\, A place where even shadows fear to tread\, Justice must be served. Four of the most wanted criminals in America have taken refuge here\, thinking themselves beyond the reach of the law -They are mistaken. \nThe Ringmaster – a mad ex circus leader\, who now commands a group of psychotic freaks \nThe Dweller – more beast than man\, he is the master of traps and ambushes \nThe Corpse – caught between life and death this creature feeds on the flesh of the living \nFrank The Butcher – A killer with no mercy\, he is a master of anything sharp\, specializing in knives and axes. \n  \nRepeated attempts to bring them to justice have resulted in brutal casualties to the point of traditional justice giving up. \nA small elite team of bounty hunters\, known as the Law Dogs\, are about to cross into their domain. \nTheir mission is simple\, but far from easy. Bring them back dead or alive. \nWe are looking for some volunteers to deputize to help with this hunt. \nMost of you won’t make it\, but those who do will be rewarded with the satisfaction of making the world safe again. \nPart immersive trail\, part adventure\, part nightmare—this is Burn Brae Mansion’s Dark Forest as you’ve never seen it before. Are you brave enough to enter? \nNow in its 33rd year\, the 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 winds through the woods behind the historic—and haunted—Burn Brae Mansion in Glen Spey\, NY. Live music\, vendors\, food\, beer and wine. \nTickets are $20 per person\, or you may purchase an entire time slot for up to 10 people for only $150.

SUMMARY:Secrets of the Dark Forest
DESCRIPTION:Halloween Night at Burn Brae Mansion: Secrets of the Dark Forest \nBurn Brae Mansion tour guides will take you through an eerie path in the Dark Forest—a trail not normally open to the public. On this lantern-lit journey\, guests will step into a world where nature\, history\, and legend intertwine. \nYour guide will lead you on a 45 minute tour into the towering Hall of Pines\, where moonlight filters through ancient branches\, casting long shadows across the forest floor. Along the way\, you’ll uncover the remnants of Charles Elkin’s historic bottling works\, once alive with industry\, now hushed in mystery. You’ll hear the eerie story of the unmarked grave\, where tales of previous tenants linger\, before arriving at the Glen Spey cemetery—the solemn resting place of Burn Brae’s original owners\, Margaret MacKenzie Elkin\, Charles Elkin\, and patriarch George Ross MacKenzie. \nThe evening also includes a Halloween-inspired menu curated by award-winning food artist Kim M. Simons\, Angel Card readings by Lily\, and a limited-edition souvenir for each guest. With a limited amount of guests admitted\, this intimate Halloween night experience promises to be one of the most exclusive—and unforgettable—Halloween nights in the Sullivan Catskills. \nCost: $55 per person \nLimited overnight rooms available: call 845-856-3335 or info@burnbraemansion.com to book. \nEvent is indoors and outdoors\, rain or shine.
